Questions worth asking before the first call.

Fees, insurance, scheduling, confidentiality, and what to expect from the first conversation. Plain answers, no fine print buried at the bottom.

What happens in the free 15-minute call?

A short conversation. I want to understand what brought you here, answer questions about how the practice runs, and decide together whether this is the right fit. No paperwork, no diagnosis, no commitment to continue.

How do I schedule?

Through the SimplePractice scheduler on this site. The free 15-minute call is the first appointment type. You can also email 2evolve@gmail.com if scheduling online doesn't work for you.

Do you take insurance?

The practice is out-of-network and private-pay. The decision is intentional. It removes insurance panels from the room — which means no diagnosis-driven session length and no third-party access to your records. Many clients with out-of-network mental-health benefits receive partial reimbursement from their plan.

How does the superbill work?

A monthly superbill is provided automatically. It's a standard insurance-format invoice with the codes your plan needs. You submit it to your insurance, and reimbursement (when applicable) is sent directly to you. The practice is not involved in the claim.

What questions should I ask my insurance about out-of-network coverage?

Five questions cover most plans:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental-health coverage?
  • What dollar amount or percentage of each session is reimbursed?
  • Is there a deductible to meet first?
  • How many sessions per calendar year are covered?
  • Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from a primary care physician?

The CPT codes used:

  • 90834 — weekly therapy
  • 97110 — weekly coaching
  • 90839 — brief follow-up consultations
Can I get help with insurance reimbursements?

Some clients use a service called Reimbursify — for a small fee they file out-of-network claim forms and track reimbursements through their app. The practice is not affiliated with Reimbursify; the mention is informational. Submitting the superbill directly to your insurance plan is also straightforward and free.

What are your rates?
  • Individual therapy session (50 minutes): $120
  • Individual coaching session (50 minutes): $100
  • Extended session (75 minutes): $150
  • Brief consultation (15 minutes, post-engagement): $40 — or a packet of 4 at $35 each
  • First appointment (15-minute call): Free
  • Group therapy: ask during the first call
What payment methods are accepted?

Cash, check, HSA, FSA, debit, and major credit cards.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the appointment carry no fee. Cancellations inside 48 hours carry a $75 fee. No-shows are billed at the full session rate. Life happens. The policy exists because the appointment time is held for you and not offered to anyone else.

How long are sessions?

Most are 50 minutes. Extended 75-minute sessions are available when the work calls for it. Brief 15-minute consultations are available for clients in active engagement.

Is the work in-person or remote?

Both. The Conshohocken office is open for in-person sessions. Secure telehealth is available throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The practice is licensed only in PA and NJ — sessions cannot be conducted with clients located in other states.

How is confidentiality handled — especially for organization-sponsored leadership engagements?

For self-pay clients, standard clinical confidentiality rules apply. For organization-sponsored leadership work, the company funds the retainer but receives no information about session content. Nothing said in the room reaches the sponsor. Retainer terms are documented in writing before the first session.

What modalities does the practice use?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). The match between modality and problem is part of the work.

Is this practice a fit for emergency or crisis support?

No. This is a private practice with scheduled appointments. For mental-health emergencies, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to the nearest emergency department.
